Franklin & Sons
Franklin & Sons werd in 1886 opgericht door drie broers: Frederick, Albert en George Franklin. Tijdens deze periode was de matigingsbeweging in volle gang.
De broers waren benieuwd wat Amerikanen zouden drinken als het geen alcohol zou zijn. Frederick nam de proef op de som, vertrok met de boot naar Amerika en keerde enkele maanden later vol met ideeën terug in Londen.
Geïnspireerd door zijn reis, begon hij naderhand samen met zijn broers met het maken van kenmerkende non-alcoholische dranken.
In de jaren daarna bleef het familiebedrijf zich ontwikkelen en ontpoppen tot een onmisbare schakel in de wereld van de premium mixers. Innovatieve smaken werden van over de hele wereld naar London gebracht om mee te experimenteren.
Meer dan 130 jaar later gaat dit ethos tot op de dag van vandaag door, waarbij ervaring en expertise worden ingezet om uitzonderlijk bekroonde dranken te creëren, natuurlijk en zonder compromissen. Inspiratie halend uit meer dan 130 jaar erfgoed ontstaat er een opmerkelijk assortiment premium tonic, sodas en soft drinks.
Alle dranken van Franklin & Sons bevatten alleen natuurlijke aroma's en extracten.
Er komen geen conserveermiddelen, kleurstoffen of zoetstoffen aan te pas, en passen in een veganistisch voedingspatroon.
Daarnaast is de producent van premium mixers zeer begaan met de huidige staat van onze planeet. Door kritisch te kijken naar hun carbon foodprint hebben ze hun co2 uitstoot drastisch kunnen verminderen.
Ingrediënten worden voor het grootste deel uit Engeland zelf gehaald en er wordt zo min mogelijk gebruik gemaakt van plastic.

De Monnik Dranken starts exclusive partnership with premium mixer brand Franklin & Sons from the 1st of September 2023.
De Monnik Dranken (DMD) will commence a partnership with Global Brands Ltd in the Netherlands from Friday, September 1st, 2023. This collaboration includes the exclusive import for the Dutch market of the premium tonic waters, sodas, and soft drinks from Franklin & Sons. The premium mixer brand, with a genuine heritage since 1886, is an ideal pairing for a wide range of spirits. This partnership marks a new chapter for the family business from Oldenzaal, where, until this day, the import portfolio consisted solely of spirits, Club & Party Drinks and wines.
De Monnik Dranken (DMD) is a 100% family owned business that was founded in 1918. Currently run by the 3rd and 4th generation, DMD has become a leading organization in the field of drinks. The activities of DMD can be divided in three different core activities. The company is an esteemed beverage wholesaler, importer and brand builder for the Dutch market. Throughout the years the company grew into employing over 130 people and build up a quality portfolio of wines and spirits from over 35 different countries.
